I would have said this in person but our schedules today aren't overlapping well, I'm sorry! If a whale-looking merman comes looking around, sort of a purplish color and kind of otherwise like an orca on land, don't worry about him.

His name's Crow, and he's a friend of mine. He's living in a very poor apartment right now, and I thought it would be nice to offer him some space with us. I think you'll like him too.

and i will! henry and i have been working a lot in the greenhouse lately but it's pretty easy for me to tell when new people are around now thanks to my nose

I didn't realize manticores had noses as good as a werewolf's, I'll have to keep that in mind. As far as I could tell with my own senses he has no particular fishy or oceany smell, so don't rely on that.

it's hard to explain, i guess
but everyone smells rather unique to me even despite what kind of monsters they are
after awhile, it gets very familiar so new ones stand out a lot to me

that part isn't really something i've noticed before through smell
or at least it's not something super noticeable to me if there is a smell
but! um... a little bit? i guess it's because of your schedule
daytime and nighttime have different smells to me

I can tell a little bit of that, the colder it gets. Cold air doesn't seem to hold a smell as well.

Your nose is probably sharper than mine though. Mostly I just have a keen awareness of blood. It makes sense, vampires aren't the same sort of hunter..

i guess since we all need different things, i suppose each monster has developed a different way of hunting
my voice is supposed to be hypnotic too but that isn't something i've tested
there's the venom too
it's still a little strange but i much prefer this to a wendigo

It might be a good idea to test it and practice, so it won't just turn on on accident. Rin's used his venom on me before, do you know what sort you have?

Wendigos have it worst, I think. That hunger sounds awful.

it's a good idea since i like to sing a little while i work outside, it wouldn't be good if i hypnotized the neighbors or one of you on accident
but... no, i'm not sure about what sort of venom i have

i didn't like it, it scared me a lot while i was one
eating and eating but never being full
i thought i was going to lose myself because it was all i could think about
