✿ a. wallflower

[ Honestly, it's all so amazing to her. After all, Shiemi had really only been to one dance party before and even then she had been working to deliver flower arrangements from the shop, not really there to dance. It had just seemed so fun back then. Of course, she had gotten one dance if you consider three people holding hands and spinning around in circles dancing. It's an amusing little thought that makes her consider finding Yuki and Rin but although she has their scents, it's hard to catch sight of them in the busy ballroom filled with fancy clothes and fancier masks.

She's rather happy with the mask she found. It's comfy and the bright colors help make it stand out against her white dress. It was honestly the first time she's worn anything that shows off her small but still growing wings. Out in the crowd though... it helps to dismiss any lingering worries over her not quite finished changes.

It's a little harder for her to get into the swing of things though. She spend her arrival near a wall, eagerly watching others but not quite finding the courage to join in. Instead, she smiles brightly and glances slightly to anyone that might be sharing the wall with her. Right, okay, she can do this! It should be easy enough to do small talk, right? ]

It's um... it's a nice party, isn't it? [ Nailed it. ]

✿ b. mistletoe

[ She been making rounds around the room, trying to spot familiar faces or catch familiar scents lingering in the air. This entire night has been a nice change of pace compared to her first month in this world and she determined to enjoy it. Still, Shiemi cannot help noticing something seems to be amiss...

Well, maybe amiss isn't the right word. Since these new changes began, her nose has been extra sensitive to smells and the smell of certain plants have definitely not escaped her. Mistletoe is a especially familiar smell from the gardens back home. She's not all that surprised that once she follows the scent, she finds a piece of mistletoe hanging high over their heads and smiles. ]

Someone's really enjoying themselves.
